Strong headwinds, bad roads and rain all made the day interesting. But with the overcast it was a break from the heat which they’ve found is the worst weather condition to cycle in.
They went for a little walk around the town and became separated. Marvin set out to look for Loretta, wondering whether or not the separation was planned. Togetherness is great, but 24 hours a day 7 days a week? It’s a question I think we should save for when they return.
They’ve discovered cycling on Fridays afternoons in the summer is not a good thing. Everyone is heading to the lake for the weekend, and the added traffic especially when coupled with heavy rain and narrow shoulders makes for scary riding.
