Perfect weather: cool, cloudy, no rain.
The last 50k of their trip into Ottawa the highway traffic was heavy, so they headed onto local country roads. These led to the bike path the follows the river into Ottawa.
For some reason they needed to stop frequently for directions. This confused me. Why stop for directions on a bike path that goes one way into the city you want to be in? Either it’s an excuse to stop, or the flesh is willing but the mind is weak!
Actually, according to Loretta, there are forks in the path that lead you to different parts of Ottawa. It was all very complicated. I’m sure it is.
